Elvine is a Swedish brand with a poetic background story. When the brand was founded by a street performer Daniel Mänd in 2001, he named it after his grandmother Elvine. Grandmother Elvine was a careful seamstress from Estonia, from where she fled to Gothenburg in the 1950s.Diligence, passion for craftsmanship and a sense of detail are the qualities that Daniel inherited from his grandmother and which follow the basic philosophy of the brand.
Brand Elvine uses only wool of known origin, high quality cotton, tencel, linen and materials with a growing share of recycled fibers. The upper layer of the jackets has a unique, water-repellent Bionic-Finish Eco technology without PFC content. The filling imitating feathers is completely made of recycled PET bottles.
