The Flamingos' Life brand uses 100% vegan materials to make their sneakers. These are mainly sustainably sourced Amazon rubber, organic cotton, corn, bamboo, and hemp.
Dyeing
The brand guarantees that the dyes used in the production are not harmful to the environment or the workers who handle them.
Production
The brand is responsible for ensuring that workers up to level 2 of the supply chain are provided with good working conditions that are monitored. They are therefore provided with a safe working environment and are paid appropriate wages.
Supply chain knowledge
The brand knows its suppliers up to level 2 - therefore it does not know the suppliers of raw materials.
Production radius
The brand is aware of its negative impact on the planet, and therefore tries to offset its CO2 emissions. Flamingos Life cooperates with the non-profit organization Eden Reforestration Projects.
The complete production chain has a longer path than 10 000 km.
CSR
The brand works with 3 non-profit organisations: The Agua ONG, building wells in the areas of Uganda, Eden Reforestation Projects, focusing on rebuilding natural landscapes destroyed by deforestation, and Waste-Free Oceans participating in ocean plastic collection.
