Carhartt WIP is inspired by the traditional workwear aesthetics with a current streetwear look. The brand was created in 1994 by Edwin Faeh, who came up with his own clothing collection, based on the traditional Carhartt workwear. Since then, Carhartt WIP has gained a cult position on the fashion map.
This is reflected in the wide list of collaborations that this brand has throughout the years had. In recent years, these have been collaborations with such names as A.P.C., Converse, Fragment Design, Junya Watanabe, Nike or Vetements. The brand also specializes in collaborations with cultural and musical icons such as Fela Kuti, Underground Resistance or Vestax. And as confirmed by the current pieces that Carhartt WIP supplies us with, streetwear is definitely at home here.
